Find no fault with others

“ To err is human and to forgive is divine” This is a common accepted dictum that we come across very frequently whenever we commit an error. We console ourselves immediately by saying that to err is human. But  we always fail to apply this principle in case of others` mistakes.  We take it to the heart and take revenge against them and forget the other part, that is to forgive is divine.  We never forgive others for their mistakes and we always wait for an opportunity to take revenge against them.  After all we are all human beings and that is why we err always and never forgive, because to forgive is divine.  When are we going to become divine?  Before that let us see how to avoid mistakes while doing our work. We should be careful not to err. Always remember, committing a mistake may lead to a failure, but failure itself is not a mistake, rather it is a lesson.  When you are ready to accept your mistake, you are matured enough for victory.
.  Any work requires two things viz., devotion and dedication to become successful.  Without these things, work may be completed but may not be upto our satisfaction.  This may become a failure also.  So, before starting any activity, be it exam, playing a game or going to other places, first invoke God’s  blessings, because it is always in vain without God.  When we worship Him we get confidence and courage.  Concentrate on the work fully. Always,.  we cannot expect the best things to come to us, we only have to make the things best. With devotion and dedication this is possible.  If we follow these two things, chances of erring will be remote. Devotion and dedication alone will bring perfection in our work. Perfection gets appreciation and appreciation beings recognition, and these two will bring success and joy followed by motivation. Once the things become perfect we need not wait for anybody’s forgiveness and excuses, instead we get others` appreciation and that is the real meaning of happiness, because without appreciation there is no success and without success there is no happiness. After having completed our work successfully without any error let us see how to forgive others` mistakes.
Forgiveness is not a weakness rather it is our strength. Our mind must be broad enough and clear to forgive others. By doing so our mind becomes light and pure, without any ill will and revenge. Anger is men’s worst enemy. Anger is danger, if one letter is added.  It spoils the whole mankind. We should not take anger to our heart.  If we do so that creates all problems. Anger is the main core for all terrorist activities, violence , and blood shed in this world. God created blood has no religion, but man created blood shed has. Scandalous! Hostility destroys tranquility. Do not make allegations. Allegations are easy to make but bitter to swallow.  Doing great things to others is not a great thing; it is the greatest  thing.  Forgiveness is one such thing.  `Forgive your enemy seven times, seventy times` Jesus says.  He further says,” love your enemies that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despite fully use you and persecute you.” In Bhagawad Gita  Lord Krishna says, “Aversion to fault finding and forgiveness –these transcendental qualities belong to godly men endowed with divine nature.” Fault finding creates anger.  If you get angry  people may hate you, if  people hate you, you may get angry, then what is the use of getting angry? Anger is a negative trait  and emits negative energy that affects not only the one who gets angry but others too.  That is the reason for hatred and hostility in our society. Never carry anger to your heart and take revenge. Remember, sustained anger is more dangerous than the expressed anger.
When we forgive others` mistakes we become divine.   When we maintain good relationship with others we become divine.  When we help others we become divine. When we share our happiness with others we become divine.  When we console others when they are in sorrow we become divine. When we love nature and preserve it we become divine. When we love animals, and when we realize that they are dependent on us and we are dependent on them we become divine. These things are possible only when we have love in our heart. Develop love! At the time of crucifixion Jesus prays for his enemies thus, “Oh father! Forgive  them they know not what they do” This is supreme divinity par excellence!
When there are so many easy ways to become divine, and by doing so we become blissful and spiritual,  why are we leading a gloomy and wretched live?  Love others and develop this divinity. One who goes into the jail may be a criminal: but when comes out he may turn to be a Buddha.. Never underestimate others. Every human being, or any living creature for that matter  has been created by God for some purpose. Even most slothful and bulky hippopotamus and rhinoceros are born in this world for some purpose as they entertain children when they visit zoo. Try to live a meaning full life.  “ Judge not others and he be not judged”.  Take no revenge against anyone as “an eye for an eye will make this world blind” Gandhiji said.
Let us follow these principles and lead a happy and glorious life.
